ASCD's Common Core Resource Collections on iTunes include math for each K-8 grade, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. We could then examine and determine the perimeters of raised line drawings of a rectangle, triangle, trapezoid, pentagon, etc. with each side appropriately marked in braille with customary and/or metric units. The students should be familiar and comfortable with the mathematical curiosity before you "challenge" them to defend it. Barr, Doyle et. al.
